TLDR: This is arguably the best Magsafe compatible wallet on the market, whether you have a phone with built-in magnets or a MagSafe-style case.
After purchasing my new Pixel 10 Pro XL, I began the search for a high-quality, attachable wallet for times when I want to travel light. After several weeks of research, I settled on the Journey VERSA MagSafe Wallet.
The build quality is great. The nappa leather has a premium feel and seems durable enough for daily use. A standout feature is the integrated stand, which is surprisingly sturdy and works well with my device in both portrait and landscape orientations.
I do wish the LOC8 version of this wallet was compatible with the Android Find Hub, as I would have certainly opted for that model. As a workaround, I've ordered some Pebblebee trackers, and I can confirm their Card tracker fits well. The wallet also features RFID blocking, so I keep my bank cards on the more-protected inside slots, with my tracker card and driving licence on the more accessible outside. As I rarely carry cash, the money-clip is useful for holding another card and/or receipts.
The magnetic attachment is impressively strong, giving me confidence that it won't accidentally fall off my case. Furthermore, the hinge is reassuringly stiff, which prevents it from flopping open and contributes to its stability as a phone stand.
The only real drawback is the bulk it adds. It's noticeable in a pocket and can make holding the device a little less comfortable. However, this was expected from the product images. A simple ergonomic trick is to partially open the wallet, which allows for a more natural grip around half of its thickness.
In terms of value, I managed to purchase it during a sale. With a new product discount and an additional offer, my total came to just over £46, Vs the full price of £60, which I feel is good value. I might have thought twice if it was over £50.
Overall, it's a fantastic wallet for what it offers, there really don't seem to be any other products on the market that come close.
P.S. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars as I'm a firm believer that you should only give 5 stars to something that is absolutely perfect in all possible ways, and even though this is a great wallet it still isn't perfect.
